Re: Unpacking WavPack
once you have downloaded the "WavPack Win32" from their webpage, download this ---> http://members.home.nl/w.speek/wavpack.htm ...Unzip or unRar everything in one folder, all the .exe files included. am stressing that it should all be in one folder, or else that WavPack Frontend will not work.

Re: Unpacking WavPack
Mac OS X people :
- Download : X Lossless Decoder - Mac OS X
- Open the application
- Select the .wv files and drag them on top of the app. icon in the doc.
Done ......
(you can delete the .wv files once you have all the .wav files)

so there was this guy, right, and he decided to start up a shop, making steamed rice cakes, really nice ones, just like the way your mother used to make them. he named the store 'puto ng ina mo'.
for some reason, whenever he answered the phone, everyone hung up. he couldn't work out why, for the life of him.

Re: Unpacking WavPack
Wow, finally a mac WavPack decoder!
WavPack is the only lossless audio encoder Ive found that preserves all of the file header info including timestamps. Theoretically FLAC can but I've never found an application that supports it.
Is there a mac encoder?

I used xACT 1.62 on a Mac to encode these files.

Re: Unpacking WavPack
Windows-Version (4.50) w/o Frontend, only unpacking the given files:
Copy the file 'wvunpack.exe' (part of the wavpack-4.50.zip) into the directory where the MMRS_Theme- wv.files are stored.
Open the DOS-command-box, select the directory mentioned above (using the command 'cd' followed by the name of that directory. If it's a subdirectory, type the whole path, i.e. 'cd downloads\mixing\MiXiT4')
Type 'wvunpack *.wv' + press 'enter' ---> all the files will be processed and the resulting *.wav-files will be stored into the same directory where the *.wv files are.

Re: Unpacking WavPack
Is it possible that audiofiles gets damaged while packing or unpacking? The right drum-room channel has dropouts with crackel, not so easy to edit. Someone else with the same issue?

Re: Unpacking WavPack
Same with the right room here also. Sounds more like a dodgy
patch to me though. I hear that when i wiggle a patch plugged
into the desk patchbay sometimes..
No big deal.

Re: Unpacking WavPack
Having a quick listen, i seem to be missing some of the vocals.
"They'll have you rolling while they're mixing things up" isn't there..
The intro vocal that ends with the coughing..
and a "waaoww" and the start of the chorus..
That's what i've noticed so far, but i would need to listen to MM's version
to actually compare for sure, maybe i remember the song incorrectly.
Or the files are there and i'm a douche.
