We normally post this info in the "Post It" thread, but since you're asking, here's more about AAC...

AAC Files (aka MP4 or M4A)

We prefer AAC (aka MP4) files to MP3. They sound better, use more efficient data compression, + are much better @ handling audio frequencies above 16 kHz. If you care about sound, you should be using AAC files instead of MP3. You can read more about them here on wikipedia.

Recommended AAC Encoding Applications:

foobar2000 (requires Nero AAC Codec)
Winamp
RealPlayer
iTunes
