Hi Halfblood,
the files for MiXiT 2 + 3 are still available for download. Since you have to agree to the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 License in order to download them, there shouldn't be a problem to do so. I guess people are using those tracks all the time for practicing, and that's what it's all about....so I'd say it's ok to go ahead.

There are download threads for each MiXiT-event:
MiXiT 3
and
MiXiT 2,
instructions about downloading are placed in the 1st post.

Well I tried downing the FLACS but the link is old and when I try to down the Wavs I get a corrupt .zip file... any ideas?
I'm trying one last time just in case the iterweb is fucking up on me.

Don't know if it's of any help, maybe it will unzip correctly with WinRAR - worked fine here...

Halfblood ~ any success?
If not, i'll put up individual files for you on my server.
It will use more bandwidth and take you longer, but at least
dropouts shouldn't hurt you. (no resume i guess?)

Yes! Thanx Cap'n for offering. It must have been the dropouts.
I've just started on it.. I must say the arrangement and quality of the tracks is very good. Not used to mixing with this kind of stuff.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that the issue is really about source quality + arrangement + performance + choice of sounds. I bunged the tracks in and pressed play and it sounded pretty good the way it was. Much better than stuff I've struggled with for days.

i Know it's been a while... i just heard the Mixit3 on someone elses thread and i would like it very much if i could give it a go... I tried the two links but the files seems to be no longer available... is there any way i can get a hold of them ??
