Re: CAPE V -- Team Tyranny
Probably an odd comment, but man...this is the best vocal treatment of all the CAPE songs this year. 6x2 man...you've taken the beautiful instrument that is Tammi's voice and made it downright angelic. It's so wonderfully ephemeral...
I have a couple of comments about other things on this tune, but I'll revisit them later.
Good work all!

Well done, great vocals, nice tune and great guitars...
I didn't dig the solo that much though

Tammikuu is quite modest, and won't take credit for really cracking the whip on the team.
I think she honestly deserves the pointman credit for this team.

Re: CAPE V -- Team Tyranny
Man, this is one kick drum that I wanna marry...and then have Tam as my voice on the side...absolutely the greatest vocals Tammi, I just stare at the pretty pictures until you sing again, while the guitars chase me up and down streets that I've never been on, yet would like to live!
This one sounds like ya'll were definitely in the same world emotionally, if not physically...course, that could be from the bad-ass bass lines from Volt!
Great writing...Great song!!

Angels and Demons. Mixed together in a way that fucking works.
Haunting.
Tight as fuck.
Love the vocal layers.
Guitars are tremendous.
I think I need to buy new studio monitors, as I turned this up so loud that they might be blown.

Wow.
Damn, Tammikuu, I'd love to write for you. Great voice. Phrasing, pitch, tonal changes, etc.
Nice work, team.

The voice just melts me. So beautiful, and a great match with the heavy guitars. LOVE the bass. Great job everyone! Gotta hit "play" again...

Re: CAPE V -- Team Tyranny
Ok, so now tyranny has given team hypnosis a SERIOUS run as contender for Cape V top dog.
Maybe we can just give out TWO "best of" awards?
this is such a perfect juxstaposition of ethereal and honed-edged steel.
I'm VERY VERY impressed.

First thing I noticed was Volt's bass.....killer job, man......Axeslash and Ryst, those guitars are wicked.....Anna(Tammikuu), I love the 'color' of your vocal performance here......fantastic.
And 6x2.........GREAT mix, and I'de love to work with you sometime.
Good job by all.

Yup with 45' ceilings and Tammi all Gothed out siping wine from a an ornate silver goblet, or a skull maybe! This is everything I love about this genre and nothing I hate! Tammi, whether, here at CaPE or over the stygian depths you RULE!

Tammiku -
OH
MY
GOD.
Everyone, really. Such a big Ol' song. Vothause - nice bass dude. I still can't get over how lush the vocals are with the effects just BLOOMING out behind them without covering them. Jeebus.
Nice gnarly guitars, too.

Re: CAPE V -- Team Tyranny
Much kudos to Tammikuu for the vocals - they're freakin' awesome!
I believe Otek was involved in the tracking process thereof, so also massive thanks to him. And to 6x2 for pulling the mix out of thin air in a very short time.
It's been a pleasure, here's hoping next CAPE is as fun
